My name is Melissa, and I'm a wedding photographer in Buxton, Derbyshire.  And yes, that's me in the photo - I've also been a bride! I finally got married after 12 years of being a wedding photographer.  In this time,​  I've travelled all around the UK to shoot some of the most beautiful love stories.  And I still love every moment.

Ever since being a child, I've had a creative soul.  From pencil drawing to picture perfect handwriting, I never stopped wanting to be different.  One day, I decided to pick up a camera after being inspired by conceptual photography - photo art,  I knew this is what I wanted to do and that I had found my passion.  I finally had a place to let me creativeness run wild.

I shoot all my weddings with a natural, candid and relaxed approach and all my images are finished in my unique, developed signature vintage, matt style.

When I attend your wedding I want to be just like a guest - I don't want you to notice I'm there - I'm literally a photo NINJA!  Being non intrusive means I get to capture some of the best and most amazing moments. It keeps your photographs REAL.  Telling your story just as it happened.

I also pay close attention to all your details. As a one-time bride myself I understand how important it is to capture every last part of the day.  I want you to remember you day just how it was - down to the last silk thread and button hole.
